i noticed when i had my subs blasting there was something rattling in my trunk, only when the trunk was closed though. so i thought maybe it was the carpeting, ripped it all out. now it is worse. then i saw the problem, there are what look like vents on either side of the trunk with little rubber flaps that open and close fast when the sub hits. now i figure it is for the a/c in the car to let air flow through the whole car and i just wanna know if it is safe to close them off completely or to hold them open with tape at all times?
