Item(s) for Sale:
This is not the R version, just the 150. Same specs....
Item(s) Description/Condition:
Just picked this up. Works perfectly, I was going to install in my GTO to replace the Xtant that I had but things came up and it has to go. This is the vintage poptop Orions that has the crossover modules underneath. Is rated like the even rarer Concepts 97.1. I'm not sure what actually held down the poptop but currently it is using velcro on both sides.
This was one of Orions cheater amps, this thing is a BEAST!!
All at 14.4 volts RATED
Channel 1/2
2 x 50W @4 ohm
2 x 100W @ 2 ohm
1 x 200W @ 4 ohm
Channel 3/4
2 x 25W @ 4 ohms
2 x 50W @ 2 ohms
2 x 100W @ 1 ohm
2 x 200W @ .5 ohm Is stable .5 ohm non bridged indefinitely
1 x 100W @ 4 ohms
1 x 200W @ 2 ohms
1 x 400W @ 1 ohm
Now I have read that this amp, with the right electrical can drop down to the following but its at your own risk of magic smoke
2 x 400W + 2 x 200W @ .5 ohm Is stable .5 ohm non bridged indefinitely.
1 x 200W + 1 x 100W @ 4 ohms bridged
1 x 400W + 1 x 200W @ 2 ohms bridged
1 x 800W + 1 x 400W @ 1 ohm bridged 1 ohm bridged or above will give years of service.
1 x 1600W + 1 x 800W @ .5 ohm bridged Stable but getting into the red zone. Similar to pushing an HCCA 225 or 250 to .25 ohm bridged. It will handle it for a year or two before it melts down.
Price:
I'm not really sure what to ask for it as none have sold in a long time, the last concepts 97.1 which is the polished model on here was asking 800obo. SO......I'll start at 450OBO. Only trades would be for cash and an OS amp that can do 4 ohms x 2 for the fronts and either a bridged 3/4 channel or a 3rd channel that can do 150+ @ 2 ohm. Has to be at 2 ohm.
