I say rare because i have never seen another person with one and hardly seen any listed forsale in any forms or even ebay. Big brother to the VEGA 3200, which i've seen alot more of, and acutally owned one aswell. Well, I really dont want to sell it, but i dont think i'll be needing it soon/anymore...maybe. If it doesnt sell, that's ok too, i'll just keep it...but anyway here it is, works 110%, never sent in for repairs.:
Even comes with a bass remote knob that lights up, never used (connected via a reg. 4pin telephone wire that is also incuded):
And is almost the size of a 24 case of Budlight:
On to the specs:
175x2 @ 4ohms
350x2@ 2ohms
700x1 @ 4ohms
2x30 amp fuses
I believe the ratings are taken at 12v.
Has high and low pass crossovers, a set of terminals by the power supply for an external cap (see pics). This amp also has a regulated and unregulated power supply, via the "vega bass" button. All 24k gold plated screws are original and are present, but do show wear. Hardly any scuffs, near mint besides a piece of plastic that cracked off on the speaker outputs (you can tell it if you look VERY closely to the right of the speaker terminals in the picture.) Please see the review of the VEGA3200 for more details about these models...http://www.cerwinvega.com/products/mobileaudio/vegaamps/vegaamps_frameset_reviews.html
and click on the bottom of the screen on "The Vega 3200 Review".
BTW, if you know of these amps, then you know about the VEGA1200, which was supposed to be the next level up, but it never made it into production.
MY video of it pushing a 15" Kicker L7 (approx 1.3x megs):
