Yeah but even the stuff they buy isn't that great. They'll take six name-brand 12's and throw it in a nice looking but not great sealed box. Guaranteed there are people with one sub in a well-made install that can out-perform some of what the big name rappers have.

Shaq has always had some dope rides, if you wanna call him a rapper. Like navigators and escalades with airbags. I distinctly remember a LONG time ago, back before the internet existed, he had an astro that had like 20 12's or some shit, crystal audio I think. There was a spread in car audio and electronics. He competed in it. He is a car guy, not just riiding with some luxury car with big wheels.

From what I've seen, not really, the loudest rapper system I've heard is from local rappers who have 4-6 subs in a too small sealed box on 5-6 cheap amps. However FL has some SERIOUSLY loud cars, TX slabs got some whammmage too

you must not have read my previous post about the guys in florida. there isnt too many people who have wang that isnt loud down there.
