what should be the highest hz for rap music
sorry that these guys got off topic and didn't answer your question. Anyways the answer is 4. Now is this old school rap?

op, if my answer didn't make any sense, you now know how we feel about the question. bye

makes sense to me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

i would go for a 32 hz tuning for rap music. i usually will use 30-35hz. anywhere in between and youll be fine. although the highest i have used is 38 hz and it still sounded pretty good. missed out on some lows but not THAT much.

why don't you be normal and set it to around 60-80 that way if you have a rap song that goes into that range, it doesn't sound like a monkey slapping his sack on a drum:D

...that is if you are asking about the lowpass filter...

if you are talking about tuning a ported box...

if you go much higher than 36-38 you'll get a peaky high end and a weak low-end

...but also depends on the sub
