Rant about work!!

So right now im currently a student in college and as my part time job i work at Lowes, and this is my *Rant*

Basically one of the managers is a dickhead and he always seems to be the one that closes on the nights that i work. He gives me all the busy / ***** work and stays around me like flys on **** to make sure im never doing anything i shouldent be. Im his little pet project i guess.. he wants me fired and he tries anything he can to try and get me to mess up so he can write me up for it.

My department manager changed my schedule tonight from its original seven to eleven, to six to ten, because i told him i dont like working till eleven on school nights.

So the manager that hates me ended up closing tonight of course and he comes over and is like "hows it going buddy, make sure you make this place look good for close tonight" and then i replyed "2 bad im only here till 10, and not till close"

and he freaked out on me he was like.. Your here till 11, thats what the schedule says. and i told him that i had just talked to MY DEPARTMENT MANAGER the night before and he changed my schedule but didnt write it on the master list and he was like I dont care what he did, the schedule says your here till 11, so your here till 11, im the manager tonight, noone else is so your staying till 11 and then after that he gave me all this bull**** work to do.

Well guess what, oops i left at 10 anyway. My department manager is the one that makes my schedule, not this *******.. and i got my schedule changed with him to 10 aclock, i dont care what the hell the list says that was made over a week ago, i know what my own manager told me, not what this guy told me.

So i left at 10, and right when i went out the doors i saw him walking down the main walkway looking down the isles in paint like looking for me. oops 2 bad i left and ran to my car. This guy can go **** himself, i already told my manager that i cant stay till 11, im still in school, and she understands and changes my schedule around to fit it.. and this ******* comes up and trys to tell me im staying till 11 no matter what... oops your not MY boss buddy, your not MY manager, your just a random manager, your not assigned to my department and you dont know or make my schedule, so hes probobly going to try and write me up for it or some bull****

i wish he would mind his own business, i never did **** to him and he always tells me **** to do and is around every corner everywere i go. last time i really had to work till 11 was on a saturday, and i got stuck with this dude and i didnt get out of work till like 11:10 cause he made me stay till the full 11 aclock and then some, its bull**** and im going to start looking for a new job soon cause this guy is seriously going to be the death of me. i cant handle his **** for much longer before something happens like i walk out or tell him off or something

i dont really care about this job, i would get so much satisfaction to just tell him off and be like. "I dont care what you think, you have no control over me, im a student in college, this is only some ****ty part time job that i could truly not care less about. Im in college because im going to get a degree and not work at lowes for the rest of my life like you"

I work for Lowe's and I love it. I have been there for four years and I probably won't quit anytime soon. As for the quoted post, our store manager brings home over $100k if he bonuses, not too bad.

As for OP, if the "manager" is a zone, you may get written up for that. But probably not. We are so desparate for help it, you were probably covering 2 - 4 departments that night.
