I prefer just mixing apple cider with apple pie licquer. Gets you all drunk and fuzzy, but preserves the flavor of the cider.

Ya, Bulmers is the balls.

Its called Magners in the states.

The best Cider I had was in a little pub in Harrow London. On a Sunday a litttle old guy would come in with a big kettle of home made Scumpy. It would have ants and stems and leaves in it still. Cloudy as hell. But 2 pints of that would knock you on your ***.

As far as store bought, Bulmers, McGuires, Scumpy Jack, I want to try and make my own next year. Im still looking for a press.

one of my friends was telling me about how when she was in england they sold "super strongbow" which had a higher alcohol content.

i guess it was comparable to ice beers here in the states.
