Rainbow Profi Vanadium Competitions or CDT HD-62's?

I currently have a set of HD-62's being run with a Cadence Z8000 (175x2 @ 4 ohms), and I've been looking to upgrade a bit. Not that I'm unhappy, but there's always that itch to buy nicer stuff......anyway, there's a set of Rainbow Profi Vanadium Competition speakers available that I'm looking at, and would like to know how everyone thinks they compare to each other? It's hard to find information about Rainbows. I have 2 15" Avalanches that are going to be put in a sealed box whenever they arrive....and either set of speakers will be in the doors. Also, would the Z8000 be too much power for the Rainbows? It says in the sales guide they're rated for 80w RMS, but I've seen on CA people running them with 175-200w RMS per side. Any input is appreciated!

Of course there's always something better.....which is why I'm wondering if I should upgrade to that "something better" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

yea, just my opinion, so I gave it. I have too many other hobbies to worry about upgrading speakers from real good to better. :p Like getting 100HP in my ATV. But it all depends on your priorities in the end. You said you were happy, so I would just keep them, they are only going to be in the doors anyways. Is the difference in quality worth the extra cost? Well thats subjective, sometimes 1 more HP wins the race, other times it's the rider, and other times your not racing. Same goes for sterios, components, install, competition? And some who have enough money will want that extra 1 HP just to have it...

With your components I would probably just get the top of the line as my next move if your that serious about it, nothing less, or you will just be wanting better stuff again all too soon...But I would probably get top of the line Lotuses instead of Rainbows due to cost...

Yeah.....I'm not looking to spend $7,000 on a set of speakers just yet, lol. I've been looking at the Seas drivers, and the Focal Polykevlar as well.
