ok odds are im gonna be buying the cmx kicks within 2-3 weeks...unless you ppl change my mind like you always do -and ill prolly have two 12' alpine type r's in the back each with about 750 watts...

anyway

would adding a tang (or similar) - 6.5 woofers into the doors be worth it or would it probaly cause problems?

with some cmx Kicks and 2 type-rs I dont really see the need to add MORE speakers... but i dont think it would hurt anything as long as you have everything crossed over properly

well it would add kickbass... but you will already have the cmx's, plus other stock speakers, plus 2 12's.

me personally I wouldnt need all that PLUS some tang bands, but to each his own, ya know?

i just want smoething i will be very happy with

my last speakers were memphis and they were nice and got loud but no midbass and were hard to blend (blew them up with my new amp) so...

i dont have any other *stock speakers atm* i turn off my HU's internal amp - so if i need too ill probaly throw in some alright rear fill speakers and power them with my sony amp that has been sittin in my closet for like 2 years lol

I just installed the CMX's, (non kick version) and the mid bass is outstanding.. I would imagine with the kicks, there would be even more mid bass.

plus even if i did throw them in they would play what freq? like 60-80? lol

No, I think the kicks have to be x-over @ 80Hz. or up..

anyone know how much power i can safely put to the cmx's

my amp can do 284 x 2 - most ppl i see put like 200ish - some ppl said it would handle all 284 fine but i really dont wanna fry these things - i would not be happy =(

and if i did put say 200 even - would they still be ok crossed at 80 ya think?
