Raffle!

I posted on here a while back about the charity that I started called Big Soldiers for Little Soldiers. So far we have raised over $1500 and are always trying to raise more. What better way than a raffle. Thanks to Jacob at Sundown he has donated 2 brand new E12 D4 subs shipped to your door(CONUS) for us to raffle off. The raffle will be held on August 18th at our final event where we fulfill our obligation of completing our pushups and run for money raised. The raffle will be filmed and posted to verify that it is fair and others can see what we do to raise money for the Childrens Miracle Network. This is how it works.

Go to bigsoldiersforlittlesoldiers.com and click on the "donate" tab in the top. That will take you to our donation page that is hosted by the Childrens Miracle Network. There is another link at the top that says "donate to big soldiers for little soldiers". Click on that link and follow the instructions. You can donate with either credit or debit card and all donations are 100% tax deductible. It will ask you for an email address and once your donation goes through it sends you a verification email with your name and the amount donated. Forward that verification email to me at kenneth.bass1@us.army.mil and you are entered into the raffle. Pretty simple. Each entry is $5. For every $5 spent you will receive another entry.

So please go and donate for a great cause. We are raising money for the Childrens Miracle Network and Duke Childrens Hospital for research and to help offset costs for care that kids receive. 100% of each donation goes straight to the hospital and network.

No you don't have to be here for the raffle. We will be videoing the whole event and then posting it to the website and facebook page. We will hold the raffle and then I will contact whoever it may be by email notifying that person. Then Jacob from Sundown Audio has agreed to ship the subs to any location in the continental US. So big thanks again to @sundownz

Yes, the pushups and run is just kind of a thank you thing and something that we can do similiar to a fun run or something that a lot of people have. We will be having different companies making up teams and competing. So it'll be pretty fun. Doing gift cards for the winning team.

You don't have to join the raffle. You can just donate online and then just not send me the confirmation email. But if you want, you can still send me your confirmation email and I will enter you and you can sell them like you said if you do win.

And these donations don't actually go straight to the hospital. It goes to the Childrens Miracle Network branch at that hospital. The CMN are the ones that do the quality of life stuff that help these kids still be kids. I can't tell you how heartbreaking it is walking in and seeing these little kids to sick to move or do anything. It changed my life seeing it first hand and thinking of if my kids were in that situation. So even the smallest things cheer these guys up. I put together a care package thing where we were sending the kids little gifts and Army gear. Awesome to see them cheer up like they did.

Cmon guys its for kids!!!! We blow 100's if not 1000's on BS audio so lets do the right thing and give some of your cash for a real cause. Kids need help now not later so dnt get that amp/sub u dnt need right now give it to the kids. A life or an amp?? Which is more important?

Everyone be on the lookout, talked to a guy today after I briefed another unit and his dad owns a music store and said he would talk to his dad about giving us some guitars and stuff to raffle off as well. So I'll be sure to post that on here as soon as I get word back

I'm hoping I can get the guy to donate some guitars to raffle. I have a lot of friends that would get in on that. I don't have to many friends into car audio. Only 3 people so far have even entered into the raffle for these. So everyones chances are still pretty good actually.
