Radio reception harder to get with amp ON

I've noticed that with some amps, it is harder to pick up radio stations if they are on. But if I turn off the amp, I can get radio stations perfectly fine.

Why do the amps do this and is there any way I can fix this?

Any of your amps class d amps? I think the switching power supplies in class D amps can reception interference. Dont know of a solution.

It is a Tantrum 1200.1 so it is a class T amp.

When I have it on, it's really hard to pick up radio stations. When it's off, I can pick up stations easily.

There is a fix involving modding the amp, but I don't know exactly what the mod is. It involves changing a resistor value to change the switching freq of the power supply and Tripath chip.
