I don't think that it is fair to criticize Vick for not playing well. Sure, some of you may have thrown the football around the living room after hitting the ol bong, but it is an entirely different thing to try to play 4 quarters of an NFL game with a nice buzz going.

I think it should be noted and it is an accomplishment for black ppl, but it doesn't look good when it gets so much attention. I mean, it seems to come across racist when everyone is like...LOOK ZOMG A BLACK COACH IN THE SUPER BOWL! FIRST TIME EVER!!!!!

I think ppl make race too much of an issue when really to get rid of racism, you really need not to acknowledge the race aspect. There are always going to be racist ppl out there and doubters, a couple of black coaches in the super bowl arent going to change the minds of those ppl. If a GM is really racist, they arent going to now hire a black coach bc 2 are in the super bowl, its almost as if ppl are like, Hey, look, a black coach can make it to the super bowl, now you need to hire one.

Hiring a coach is a business decision based solely on success and credentials, nothing to do with race.

I see what your saying, I was saying it in more of the sense as the example to black children. You are right, its not like black ppl everywhere had a part in this, lol, thats not what i meant by that. Just that its a positive accomplishment that can inspire black ppl.
