"Hacking" secured wireless networks???

Meh, as a security professional, I do not consider that to be "hacking". 'nuf said.
It isn't the new accepted definition of gaining by exploitation of code, I will agree to that much, but any method used to gain access is a hack by technical definition, nuff said.

As a security professional you should take one of the most successful techniques seriously. Why should I break or exploit code when I can get some dumb *** to just give me the keys?

LOL OK you don't have to accept it as a hack but the rest of the world that uses a dictionary will.

hack 1 (hk)v. hacked, hack·ing, hacks

v.tr.

1. To cut or chop with repeated and irregular blows: hacked down the saplings.

2. To break up the surface of (soil).

3.

a. Informal To alter (a computer program): hacked her text editor to read HTML.

b. To gain access to (a computer file or network) illegally or without authorization: hacked the firm's personnel database.

4. Slang To cut or mutilate as if by hacking: hacked millions off the budget.

5. Slang To cope with successfully; manage: couldn't hack a second job.
The definition doesn't say access must be obtained through breaking or exploiting code. It just has to be done illegally or without authorization.

I didn't say anything about exploit code.

You seem to be hyped on the technical aspects of everything. With that, I submit that social engineering is not technical by nature but purely psychological - nothing more.

I will end this silly little conversation by saying that you will eventually see the term 'hacking' and the actions performed in social engineering tactics to fork. Each will take its own path and take on a more specialized meaning.

What was one of the reasons Kevin Mitnik went to jail? I'm pretty sure social engineering was on the list, it is hacking, but not by the modern views. If you haven't already figured out how to break into your neighbor's network, you haven't even tried. There are dozens of tutorials that show you step by step how to obtain the key, you just have to find them.

its easy to do when u know what your doing i use to do this n other stuff but quit a while ago it took me time to get it down, lots of readin n research, and i switch my windows software to 95 windows u could do 96 windows cuz its easier blah blah im not gonna go in to it, not worth it u could get in some serious trouble if u get caught

i wouldnt recomend it

just leave it alone

no, you can hack into wireless WPA2 networks. Ones that have passwords. It's only easy if you know how...it takes like 5 minutes to set up and a while to crack the passwords after you get the 4 handshakes. Jeez.

how can i see wat another computer screen has on it on my computer in the same house on the same wireless network

like when i was in highschool they could see wat you were on from their computer across the room
