thats what I have and ms2250ta

the amps are nto the same tho...the orginals are more powerful at 4 ohms, but cant drop down to 2 ohms like the Tas. And I am thinkign that one is not the orginal becuase lok at the transformers all the orgianl ones I have seen used green copper on the transformers. AL the TAs have used redhmm make sme wonder.

I also wondered what would stop him from putting a different plexi on it and calling it original....i am in no way implying that i know anything about the internals..i was just thinking it would be an easy scam.

yep u did....its debated on that amp, the big caps are blue like the orginal and a few other things but those can be easily changed. Also the heat sink is the orginal zinic. But just wierd how the transformers are nto green.

I watch that seller's listings fairly often.

He almost always has some old-school goodness for sale. I think he buys them broken, gets 'em fixed there in his area for cheap, and then just turns 'em.

I'm thinking he repairs them himself. He buys alot of broken amps on ebay and offers to buy just about any nice amp that he comes across. Every PPI that I have listed he has offered to buy within hours of it hitting the auction block. I have seen a few that looked like hell when originally listed. After a good cleaning and taking a good pic with good light he always makes money on them.
