"DVC" What ohm voicecoil are they?hmmm

I bought 2 soundstream spl 160 15's used w/no manual.I've searched their website and other places and found 2 different answers.Their either dual 2 ohm or dual 4ohm.Does anyone know?? The back of the sub says 8/2 ohm operation.Thanks

my amp is only 2 ohm stable i don't think these subs will work with this amp..**** it!I wired them up and bare get any sound out of them.It is so low and crackled I can barely hear them.Since I didn't know what voicecoil they were I used the voicecoil wiring diagram for dual 4 and dual 2 ohm in the wiring sticky.I had no success.Any other ideals??

go out and spend 10 bucks on a dmm and find out for sure before you ruin your amp.

so where do I place the power/ground probes to?The sub terminals or amp?If amp where on the amp?

Touch them on the sub, on the terminals. Neg with neg and pos with pos.
