If it's a SATA drive, it'll plug into any SATA port on a desktop, and work just as if it were a 3.5" hard drive. It's a PATA drive, you'll need an adapter. They sell 3.5"-2.5" to USB adapters all over the internet. It won't be plug and play into a new laptop, due to drivers causing incompatibility.</p></blockquote><p></p>
