Bose does their own thing, and they're VERY weird about mixing their products with others, or even comparing them with numbers for that matter. Talked with a guy at the Bose store in the Charlotte, NC mall for a while when I was up there. Bose is pure SQ, their stuff kicks *** and they know it. The dude wouldn't give me any numbers as far as specs on their products because most of their advantage comes through in the engineering of their products, not just what the speaker can handle. I mean really, how many of you have heard that wave radio of theirs? Thing's smaller than like a shoebox and it's one of the finest sources of audio I've ever heard. They don't give a shit about whether or not their stuff will work with other manufacturers because they don't want you using it with theirs anyways. I hate it though...some high quality Bose components in my car would kick *** and they don't do aftermarket.
