Message: <blockquote data-quote="squeak9798" data-source="post: 700296" data-attributes="member: 555320">Just make sure your gains are set properly, follow the tutorial.One thing to keep in mind; That 6.5V isn't a constant, typically they only put out their rated voltage at or close to full volume.  As you turn the volume down, the preouts voltage output goes down.  As you turn the volume up, the voltage ouput goes up.  Generally, when listening to your stereo with music at a normal listening level, I'd be surprised if your HU was ever outputting more than 3V</blockquote>
