G'day all, from a newcomer to the forum. I'm no expert and I've got a little tech query someone might be able to help me with please. I'd like to set up an Aux input on a VDO car stereo, the VDO Daytona CD 2703. I see the unit does have suitable AUX IN pins in one of the back panel connector blocks, but they need to be enabled using the unit's set-up menu. The trouble is, the CD 2703 model is one of a family of four near-identical models, the 2703, 2803, 2203 and 2253..... they each have very slightly different options, and the 2703 is the only one which doesn't have the Aux In option listed in its specs-sheet. The thing is, though, it has got the actual pins on the rear panel but the function doesn't show up when you step through the set-up menu. I wonder if anyone knows a way to work around this and enable that Aux In connector to be selected? I bet somebody has sussed out a way to beat the system! Many thanks if anyone has any suggestions, Graham H, NZ
