q logic kicks for 4" and tweet.... do i need to re enforce?

I got the Jl xr 3 way comp set. The 4's and tweets are going into the q logic kicks, and the 6.5s in the door. Do I need to re enforce the kicks for just a 4" midrange?

And what about poly fill? SHould I throw some in there or skip it?

just re enforce em with some sound deadner man. put 2 layers in and you'll be fine, thats what i did with mine for my 4". worked fine.

you can do that, on top of deadening. the more the better.

i have 6.5 arc acs in q logic kicks, adding deadning(dynamat xtreme) didnt do much, all it did was stop my feet from feeling the bass and now cant hear it and cant feel it.

I am just going to glass them. How many layers and what thickness of mat should I use?

I used 3 layers of mat. just do it till it's stiff enough that it doesnt flex when you push your thumb on it (which is a lot more force than any speaker could put out).
