Pulled over for nothing?

My exhaust is NO where close as loud as half of the motorcylces and semi's on the road, my taillights arent even tinted, just 'Cateyes' painted in them, and my license plate cover is clear.

Its illegal to have ANY cover over your license plate, or to have it inside the car.

Just because its not as loud as a motorcycles exhaust, doesn't mean its over the limit. Motorcycles at least have the excuse of being loud to help other drivers hear them since they hid in blind spots easier.

Why do you have cateyes painted on your taillights? Sounds kinda ghey.

And just because you didn't know you were in the wrong doesn't mean that you weren't wrong.

dude, the exact same thing happened to me yesterday, but i was coming back from the gym and i drive up to a light and i see two cops parked at the gas station, Im stopped at the light right next to the gas station and they both swing out and start the lights. I pull into the gas station and the guy walks up to me and says that my rear tail lights are too dark to see the lights through them (mind you this is at NOON with full sunshine). Checks my record and its clean of course, tells me i need to replace them, i was like they are factory... Anyway so im not going to attempt to replace my ford taurus tail light covers, i think they where just bored.

I wasnt speeding, Its just a habit to let off. I drive a White 1997 Grand prix, the front bumper is in yellow primer..
He did ask if I had any drugs or illegal substances in the car..

i would have said ya i do, just so he could search and find nothing then laugh. then tell him thanks for wasting my time
