PS3 or 360?

Why does everyone say the 360 is better for games? These days like 90% of the games that are released go multiplatform. I think it just comes down to the preference of exclusive titles and controller style.

I agree people talk about how much better each is and really they are about the same

online play....yeah whatever

Most of the games come out on all the major consoles

I have a PS3 and use it to watch blu ray more than anything

actually stream music from my network more than anything

Controller wise and 1st party game wise I really prefer the 360, I have never been a fan of the PS style controller, just never liked it, whereas I love the 360 controller.

Graphics wise they are very similar, the 360 has a more powerful graphics chip bit not as strong of main processor so in the end it pretty much equals out.

Streaming on both is awesome, its so nice to be able to stream movies, music and photos to your TV from your PC.

On the movie side, PS3 obviously plays Blu Ray whereas the 360 doesn't, so in your case I would say the PS3 is a better choice for that reason alone.

PS3>360 IMO.

With the PS3...its a bit more reliable than the 360. A lot of hardware issues...even though the older first release 40 and 60 gig PS3 models are starting to crap out and its $150 to get anything repaired on it directly from Sony. BUT its still more reliable. Plus you have the promise of the 10 year life span. Which means if Sony releases another playstation then they will still be making games for it...while microsoft just completely forgot about the xbox when the 360 was released.

Plus well the blu-ray and free game play is nice...even though Xbox Live is more stable than Playstation Network. Also with the blu-ray games their a bit harder to scratch badly than the DVDs that the 360 uses. Badly being scratched to where they skip and jump and all of that fun stuff.

Plus if your computer craps out...you can partition 10 gigs to another OS on the PS3. I got linux on mine and it actually works pretty **** good. You dont get the full processing power that the PS3 offers since theirs a cap on it...but its still nice.

Also yea im a fan boy so get over it lol.
