Proxy web sites??

i go to boarding school where we have a security system on the internet that blocks myspace and facebook plus most online forums..(i had to special request they unblock caraudio.com for me)

ive tried a ton of different proxy sites to get around the internet block for facebook/myspace but they are all blocked...does anyone know a way to get around internet security..the software is St. Bernard....thanks guys for any type of help

Go to tools then click on options... then go to the advanced tab, then go to the network sub tab then click on configure how firefox connects to the internet change that from auto to manual and use 62.193.235.46 as the proxy IP, and for the port you can use 443 (secure sockets layer port, typically left open on firewalls) or use the default port of 80. check the Use this proxy for all, After that say ok and then ok again then go to http://www.google.com and you should notice that now it says http://www.kproxy.com. Do exactly what I said and you will be surfing your favorite **** sites in no time. Just remember that stuff is going to be slower because you are going through a proxy.

hahah and the stupid part of this security the school has is that **** sites are not blocked, just chat web sites such as myspace.com and facebook...even fantasy baseball sites dont work because they suggest gambling...foolish

Do you know how he blocked them? For example, did he install a web browser, did he install a web filter, did he use the host files? I might be able to help you if you know how he blocked those sites.

What kind of error did you get? Typically it is very hard for my method to be blocked since when you connect to google.com its DNS server redirects the traffic through their servers. So unless google.com is blocked or you didn't do it right then its not going to work. Also what version of Firefox do you use I am using 2.0.0.3 and we have web since at work and it works for me.

no idea, just when i type in myspace.com i get

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
