I just wanted to say that I installed the ugliest system addition ever.

Using a hitron distro, I ran a quick amp and sub to add to my existing speaker amp. Just something I had lying around. Problem was, my install kit had yet to come in!

So I found a few feet of 16 AWG wire, and made myself some ground wires and power cables!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif I found some 20 AWG wire and split the remote wire, and ran an old pair of RCA fromt he output on my speaker amp to the input on my Sub amp.

Ugliest setup ever...but it works! Install kit comes in tommorrow, but I'm on vacation as of 6 am tomorrow.

Just thought I'd share. I should take some pics so some of your audiophiles can puke on each other:D

Sub was Kicker CVR10 and amp was 1200 Watt Sony 2 channel.

16 gauge is a bit small for power wire buddy!

Then again its a sony amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif But really, you dont NEED an "instal kit", power wire is power wire as long as you are handy you can fit your own ends on a heavy gauge chunk of wire and save some cash. But I only recommend this if you know basic electronics and the importance of sizing the wire/fuse right. Never run without a fuse.
