I'm kind of a big deal...
Need you guys' help. If youve seen my thread about the Wal Mart gift card then you know my situation. Anyway, I have 1300 to spend (only at Wal Mart) and I've decided to buy 4 12" Sony Xplod's (the pentagon cones) and a Pioneer 5700dvd with the card. I need recommendations for a box, and an amp to power those sumbeaches. I have no idea how many watts to give em or how much space they'll need. Heres what I've came up with so far, feel free to argue and be constructive.

*Sub amp - something 1500-2000 @ 1 ohm (all 4 subs are single 4 ohm. {1 ohm final load}) So about 400-500wrms each, maybe?

*Im going to port them to about 35hz, I'd LOVE to tune lower but I'm not sure how that'd go and how theyd handle it.

*2 cubes each before displacement, so like 1.8 or whatever each

Overall do you guys think It'll be total poo or what? I'm sure the output should be decent but I dont know about the sq. Now, feed me suggestions, comments, criticism, whatever. LMK what you think

tv was bought, dont have receipt anymore, have to get in-store credit from it. 1300 dollars to spend at wally world and i figured "hey, what better to buy than caraudio"

I'm getting another tv...a 7" motorized in-dash one...

Seriously though, I already had a 30"...IDK WTF i bought that thing...STAY ON TOPIC

im pretty sure the 5700dvd is the best wal mart sells...and i need to buy part of my system with this. as of right now all i have is my 1/0 stinger wiring kit and my pioneer 7800

i dont know about that HU but i wouldn't go xplod...

try and sell that gift card for like 1200 to someone who shops there alot

xplods are good for people who don't have money. they may sound good at this moment but in a few weeks after the install you will be driving and you will say to yourself "i need more power" cause thats what happened to me.
