~Project Stealth Avalanche~ 4 15's, 4krms, dash mod, *pics*

Just went through all 24 pages. To find out about the broken amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifBut This build looks great. Cannot wait for some updates.

it will be done here pretty soon. The amp should be back to me by the end of next weekend (weekend of the 15th) hopefully.

Me and gsuchyta (guy who sold me the autotek) have been talking back and forth about the amp situation, and he's being a great guy about it. He's agreed to help me pay for some of the repair costs, which is great business on his part. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ARC should be calling me sometime early next week once its repaired, and ill hopefully have the amp back within 2 weeks.

Looks killer man... Only suggestion I can make is you should have sanded down the dash bezel, filler primed it, sanded smooth again, then painted //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i thought about doing that, but my original goal of the whoel install was to keep everything fairly stock looking.

I couldnt find a stock charcoal bezel at the time, so i just bought a tan one, and painted it black and kept the texture of the stock dash.

not much to update on. Still waiting on ARC to get back to me about the amp for shipping.

I did clean my garage today though, and im about to install a little budget stereo in my girlfriends car to keep me busy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Sounds like you got ripped on the amp charge.. Unless you needed a complete new board, I dont see why it cost so much. I probably could have had a guy fix it for you for a better deal, but to late now. Anyways, thats a nice looking setup. Why did you choose to let the wires show though?

I've been PMing with gsuchyta about the autotek i got from him (the one currently in for repair), and i just got this message from him.

I remember that amp messing up on me, but I thought it was my battery or my wiring or my insufficient electrical. Sometimes it would work fine. I never should have sold that amp knowing this and it was a complete dick move on my part. I feel extremely bad about what I did and I want to make things right. I've never sold anything on here that didn't work other than this of course. I am extremely sorry and I do feel extremely bad and am not happy about what I did. Give me your paypal addy and I'll send you the full $315 or if you want me to do a money order and mail it so paypal doesn't take money out. Just let me know what you want to do and I'll send you the money however you want it.
although it was a bummer he sold a broken amp that he thought was working, i thought this was great business on his part. Good man for coming out honestly!

Too bad we don't have more guys on here like this

It's the least I could do man. Your build is looking pretty sweet. I've heard 4 Treo 15's in a clamshell design just like yours (loudest system I've ever heard) Hopefully you'll get that amp back soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
