Project Pictures (76 Pictures, 56K Forget It)

You know, just the other day I seen two job offerings in the local paper ... wanting HVAC guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I don't plan on moving till I get my record expunged, that way I can ACTUALLY get a job... god I ****ed myself on that one...

Maybe there will be another PE tent sale and I can pick up stuff for everyone and deliver it across the country whilst seeing everyone's systems for a delivery fee, plus maybe some places to sleep along the way. Yep, that's it I'm whoring out the next PE tent sale to make the trip cheaper for me.

What am I talking about, I'm gonna sleep in the back seat anyway:cool:

Glad you like them. I figured that you would be happy when you seen the Dayton stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Those Audio theta caps ... little expensive, no?

In the case of this particular system, there is a 1.5~2db RL series filter at around 100hz to tame a small response hump that is native. I don't recall exactly how much it was, as I don't have the system loaded in front of me - but I believe it was pretty minor - I added it as it's cheap and it's better to start at a flat response and tweak to the user from there.

now that i look at it again, could i see a system impedance graph for those please steve? i'm curious how u kept it flat with all of the different comps and no imp eq or lpad...thanx. btw, how do u like those reference speakers? i've never heard them specifically but i HAVE heard that they sound beautiful.

Love the reference speakers. They're awesome. When I have some extra cash laying around, I'd like to try them in-car.

What does a zobel have to do with this system response? I didn't get a request from Steve that said "I'm hooking this to my 2wpc house heater slash foot warmer slash amplifier, and it grows legs and starts coming at me with a bloody cudgel if I don't keep the load stable within a few tenths of an ohm..." so I didn't bother adding the extra cost of them into the design as it doesn't serve a purpose.

Next to no design I've done to date involves a lpad - I try to stick to drivers that can mate fairly easily without one.
