progressive insurance

I was wondering if anyone has/had progressive insurance and knows how the deductable works for theft if there is one for such. I never take off my face plate at work being that its in a busy shopping center etc. It just so happens I walked out to my truck last night after work and my head unit was gone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

The fact that it is a busy shopping center should be more of a reason to take it off.

Your deductible will vary from anyone elses, call them and ask.

I have them but never really looked into that part of it. I can say its cheaper to go to a agent then to go straight through progressive for me it is but all people are diffrent.

I have progressive. I havent had to file a theft claim yet. Id emagine that it is like any other insurance company and you pa the comprehensive deductable. Same for broken glass, if a tree falls on your car...Etc.

A stolen stereo falls under comprehensive insurance. If you have comprehensive, when you got your insurance, you should have picked out your deductable.

A common deductable is the $500 one. This represents the amount of money you are expected to pay for each claim. If your stereo was $1000 new, then expect $500 back. If your stereo was $600, expect, $100 back. Get it?

However, if you did not TELL your insurance you had an upgraded head unit, and if you didn't retain receipts, or didn't get your vehicle inspected to proove you had the head unit installed in your car, then you're most likely out of luck.

the guy who t-boned me while i was in my cobra had progressive. they are a ***** to deal with. i have allstate. love them. no problems at all.
