Not sure what forum to put this in so ill go here...im learning on Sketchup but i cant figure out how to construct a slot port on it. anyone have any tips or is there a tutorial? i figured out everything else but im struggling with a slot port....and i just read how to get completed boxes onto imageshack but i forgot it...and now i cant find the thread. help me out here

my question about the port creation is more along the lines of how do i get the wood to be .75 in thick instead of flat?

Use the pencil and push pull feature.

Draw out your base with the pencil and then push/pull it to .75". On top of the base, draw up your design. Once you draw it on top of the base, push/pull everything to the height you want.

To upload your images, hit the print screen button on your keyboard (next to F12) and then open mspaint. Go to edit and then paste (or hit ctrl+v) and then save the file. Go to http://www.tinypic.com or http://www.imageshack.us and upload the file. Make sure you save the file as a .png or .jpg so that it will be relatively small.
