are the profile california series any good. The one that i'm looking at is 1200sx. mosfet power supply, 600 x 2 ouput power, 900 x 1 bridged rms, total harmonic distortion

Why not just get the JBL1200.1? If not, there's nothing wrong with that amp for the money. The Clarus would be better than the California, for a little more.
