problems with my kenwood kvt 719 and using a USB drive

I got my kenwood KVT 719 installed yesterday. Everything works great except the **** USB. What am I doing wrong??? any idea what format kenwood likes??? i have a 2gb usb drive, is it too big for the kenwood. I plug the USB in and all it says is no device. Any help is greatly appreciated seeing I am leaving tomorrow for florida.

I run a 4 gig with no problems, First, did you format the device? You need to get rid of all programs that are installed on it. Sandisk loads a few on them. When you put it in the PC, right click on it and format. Next. What program are u using to transfer songs to it? Are you using the media manager? If not, once formatted you should be able to drag and drop, but make sure to eject the thing, other wise it wont work.
