Problems inverting 03 ed15k's

hey

i got my box built today, and the audio shop told me they cant invert the subs because if they do the surround on theese k's is too big and itll rub against the opening and in a month or so itll tear the surround. i told them that maybe they should cut the hole bigger and they said that if they do it will be too close to the mounting screws and it wont hold. has anyone heard of this before?? or had this problem?

its the **** shops fault for not cutting the hole big enough...tell them to make you a new box and cut it right this time. Your supposed to test fit the sub b4 u drill the **** mounting holes....

It will be difficult to invert it, as there isn't much room for mounting with the surround right there...but it can be done- with careful predrilling...
