I'm running an mtx 1501d off an optima yellow top, and stock alternator. I don't want my voltage to drop, so what's the cheapest, and best way to go about this. I was going to throw my original battery (pretty decent duralast) in the front and stick the optima in the back. I don't have the money to afford another optima at this moment. I was going to connect posi 2 posi, negi 2 negi and posi 2 amp, negi 2 chassis. Would this kill my alternator even more? A local shop said yes, my friend who ran a zapco 9.0 off 2 redtops (not isolated) and 2 DD 9512s said no. I have about a hundred dollars to spend, so I was just going to get some positive and negative battery terminals and throw that battery in the back. Thanks guys. Ohhh, i also took some pics with my cell phone of my ground to see if I should ground my amp better.

http://www.comp-hq.com/ground.jpg
