Did you check carefully for an in-line fuse somewhere in the radio wire harness? Sometimes we check the fuse box fuses but forget to check for an in-line fuse (which is usually smaller in rating and the first to blow. Using a volt meter set to measure DC volts, check the voltage at the headunit connector for the +12 unswitched (batt) power and the IGN or ACC switched power (make sure the ignition is on the ACC or ON position). Check this by putting one lead on car chassis bare metal and the other lead on the wire or pin you are testing.
