H/U- Eclipse 55060 6.5 CDT Es 620z JL 300/2 for the comps JL 10w3v3 JL 250/1v2 for the sub Ok, so I swapped out my old alpine for the eclipse h/u. On the harness for the deck its got a remote wire, and there also a remote wire on the metra vehicle harness. I decided not to connect the one from the metra harness and only connected the amp turn on from the eclipse harness to the remote wire. Well what happened? My amps didnt turn on. Is that the solution? - simply connecting that one wire to the other 2? No sound since the deck has no preamp. OR I wired a 1 F Stinger Cap as well and (on accident!) when hooking up the power I touched the ground and it sparked like a mofo, but I dont think I blew it...or could I have? Its my first time using a cap, so I am unfamiliar with them, somewhat. Any suggestions / comments / tips / troubleshooting is welcomed. Thanks
