Prob dumb but....

So the watts will get divided half? Well I have 2 Aw1206T's with dual 4 ohm coils. If I have a 5000 watt at 2 ohms for an amp, will it be 2500 to each?

wiring two dual 4 vc subs would be one ohm all together. i do not know alot about audioban but i know they say they are 1100 rms but i do not believe that even if its true thats a total of 2200 rms and 4k peak. when you are playing your music daily. you want to put 2200 rms amp on it not a 4000 watt amp or 5000, where did you get 5000 from?i highly doubt that sub is 1100 rms. wait for some other info from ppl to see what they say about theses.

A pair of dual 4 ohm subs can be wired as either a 1 ohm or 4 ohm combination. And yes, whatever power is given them will be split between them.
