Pricing on Arc Audio KAR 900.1D & KAR 400.4?

Hey guys, I am new to forums and was wondering what would be a good price range for these amps? A local craigslist AD has popped up and is selling the Kar 900.1D for $200 and the 400.4 for $125.

I don't think they are the newer versions of these amps, but the older Silver Arc audio amps.

What do you think these amps should actually go for? I have not bought a single piece of Arc Audio equipment yet since there are no local dealers around my area, but the reviews on Arc Audio have been phenomenal and I was thinking about getting a nice Arc Audio setup.

thats about right man. they are solid amps. brand new the 900 would go for 350 to 400 and the 4ch would be about 250-300

look into the ks1200.1 and the ks300.4 alot better arc audio amplifiers.

Haha, i wish. If I had the cash I would definitely invest in them, but for right now i think the KAR series would suffice. Plus, I am only running entry level subs. Thinking about buying an SSA Gcon 12' in the next few weeks

Oh and are any of these amps very power hungry? My electrical has not been upgraded yet and I dont want these amps killing my electrical. Thanks guys

im running 2 KS1000.1 stacked together and i have a second batter, big 3, and 1/0 runs.

U should be fine with KAR series juss the way your electrical is.

No more than 4gauge recommended for those amplifiers.

i run a kar 400.4 new one and a focal solid red and my electrical system is fine with 4ga ran the whole way and no upgrades, so you should be good.

Sacramento. An Arc Audio dealer has opened up about 25 minutes away, but not a lot of people in Sac know about Arc Audio and I'm more towards shopping on craigslist rather than pay full price for certain items.
