Hey guys just hoping someone can give me a general idea of how much it would cost to get a double din headunit ( Kenwood dnx5120 ) and a set of component speakers (CDT CL-60), as well as an amp to power the speakers, installed in a 02' Chevy Trailblazer (SUV) at a car audio shop? I'm in South Florida. I would be providing all the accessories and wires needed for the install.

I do have a full system but I am moving away for school soon, and it's just not practical to get it all installed at this time. I would like to get the headunit installed though, and might as well upgrade the speakers. To do the full system is off budget right now. I'm hoping the install of the headunit, comp speakers, and amp will run around $200ish? Anyone have an idea of the dollar amount? Thanks.

for a head unit install, i generally charge 40... components, depend on the vehicle, but generally run between 30-50, and installing an amp, with proper tuning is 40. these are all seperate prices, tho, as most shops would group this all together, and cut you a break... if it was at mine, i would price it at around 100 for you, if you were providing all the wiring, harnesses, etc... but each shop is a lil bit different.

if your in south FL, theres a place in hialea (i kno... the area *****... but the shop does really good work, at a good price). i cant remember the name, off the top of my head... but i'll find it, and post it for you

Thanks for the reply. Do you work at a shop? If so, those prices seem pretty reasonable, but if not I can imagine they charge a bit more... My friend got a sub/amp combo installed for I believe $100-120... is that about what you would charge?

And Hialeah is a bit far from me, about 2 hours. I'm north of there in Palm Beach. Thanks for looking out but that is too far out of range.

Hi,

I don't know how a buisness stay's open if they are charging $100 for 5-6 hrs worth of work but it's what it is. If you went to a qualifyed shop expect

headunit $45-50

amp $85-100

components $95-115
