I have posted about this charity in another thread but I just found out this morning that I have been nominated and am competing for a national award that has been awarded to President Bush, Senator John Glenn and news anchor Walter Cronkite. It is the Spirit of Hope award created in honor of Bob Hope who used to do a lot of volunteer work with the military. I didn't even know about this award till this morning when I was informed of my nomination for all the volunteer work I have done. But this is an amazing honor and something that would boost my career beyond belief.
So I am asking for help again in spreading the word about my charity that is going on right now. It is us raising money again for the Childrens Miracle Network of hospitals. The money raised is for research and ensuring that no kids are denied medical care for life threatening diseases due to the families inability to pay. The more people I get on board with this and money we raise the better my chances of winning.
I didn't start all of this for personal recognition but I am stoked for the opportunity to receive an award that the President has received and get to possibly meet him and other senior government officials. And this will ensure me some promotion so help a brother out!! Thanks in advance for any help guys. Not asking anyone to donate.
