Yea, thats Mecha Godzilla
This past weekend I got bored and decided to play around with my EQ in my car. It had been set the same way for over a year and my highs were still a little overbearing.
What I soon discovered was that I had been COMPLETELY choking my mids.... I'd guess from 200-800hz. Due to this issue I had been pretty much ruining the vocals on most CDs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif The other gain that came from this was that this pulled my sub-bass forward (as in farther from me...backwards.....um...it was a positive move //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif) quite a bit in the soundstage.
In conclusion, I highly suggest to those of you that have had what you might believe to be the "perfect" settings for a while to go back to the drawing board, you might not know what you've been missing!
