No x-over chip, that's exactly how I got it. The amp works fine without it, just can't use the x-over. It'll run full range and full power... you can also buy those chips for dirt cheap, at least I did from a guy DIYMA. I have a few offers on it but no payments yet, so it's all yours if you pay first. Amp is in great shape/condition
