Message: <blockquote data-quote="Diplexers" data-source="post: 1090151" data-attributes="member: 550866">If you think about it, they were designed back in the day when competitions went by power classes instead of sub surface area.  If you had a PC2150 you were in the 601-1000 watt class since they counted deck wattage too.So the more power the better.  Once you went over a thousand watts it was up for grabs since the only class higher was 1001 watts and up.  The 2150 was kind of a cheater amp.</blockquote>
