PPI BRINGS BACK the ART SERIES

Wouldn't you like to see PPI bring back the Art series amplifiers? I think that these were the nicest looking amps ever produced . There a hell of a lot better looking than the current PPI amps that look like the STAR SHIP ENTERPRISE.

Yes I agree, but the art series were very powerful amps that were also under rated. they must have merged with Rubber Maid to produce the amp's they have out now.

I think I owned every Art Series from 95-97 they made....even the water cooled ones

the art series amps (the white ones with the pastel geometry colors) were ugly IMO. the BLACK art amps - look so incredibly sexy its not funny.

otherwise, they wre just really awesome amps.

I agree the newer DEI versions are ugly and they do look like the Starship Enterprise or something, not to mention I don't believe they hold a candle to the Art series amps in performance (actually I know this). I still own three Art series amps in black an a300, a600.2, and a1200. I haven't found anything worth replacing them all these years.

I don't know as though I would want them to bring the art series back now that DEI owns PPI unless they actually recreated them to the original specs, I wouldn't want an inferior amp that looks the same.

the art series of ppi wasnt the good amps it was the am series and the pro mos series about 5 to 3 years prior that put ppi on the map. those speakerwarehouse (became jl at least the master minds there) vehicles all had ppi amps mb quart speakers and the baby jl subs. back in like 91 they were running 30 plus speakers off 1 ppi promos 50 that won alot of shows and who could forget tommy clark's sci fi van?

yeah I had a pro mos 50 ,But **** that thing got hot fast. the shop I worked at replaced quite a few of thoes people would fry them.It was great when competing for Q .But not quite the boom arround town all day amp you know. I bought an a600 and a400 combo and have never been happier with a system.

the original Art Series, imo, probably the best amps ever built. Just simply amazing design and performance all in one. Not to mention they were underrated like hell.

There was the original Art series then the V2 in which case were the better ones by far.

i beat the shit out of mine daily for 3 years running it at .5 ohm mono and its still powering a set of component in a bereta now
