its still a good amp...but I'm not sure there is any hope in it cosmetic wise.....

Old thread, I know. Just figured I'd chime in to let you guys know that I am the current owner now, and I replaced the gain pot, she's good as new! Well, sort of lol. What is this 80a fuse mod you were talking about? I'm guessing you just mean that he slapped two 80s in there. That's how it was when I got it.

The 80a fuse mod was him being sarcastic, I put the 80a.fuses in since that's all I had to.put in it for testing purposes, put the normal 60a fuses back in.

the one i got from my brother has two 80 amp fuses, and that's what she had in it when i got it for him in 97or 98. i/he only paid $300 for it

I dont remember but I think the a1200 used the 60a fuses and the a1200.2 used the 80a?

I might be wrong I am not a PPI collector so I am not a 100% sure.

Im gunna try and revive it a little, may repaint the whole thing and am adding fans in the back plate... The current plugs on this amp are melted, anything I should be worried about?

If I remember correctly, RobotUnderground on ebay had the plugs you need for that amp. You may want to contact him just to see what all he might have available for it... I know someone posted he had Arts stickers FS there too (BassAddictJ i think???)
