Probably a bigger alternator and battery. I doubt most stock electrical systems could handle a 2500d at full powa.

@1ohm dont need to much a nice size extra batt will get the job done, but when u drop below 1ohm thats when i'd start lookin for a HO alt

So you don't need a HO alt if your runnin a 2500d at 1 ohm? Cuz I was planning on buying a new alt and have been looking into it a lot lately for when I get my Orion. But if All I need is a 2nd yellow top, the big 3, and my stock alternator then that just saved me 500 bucks and a huge hassle. Anyone have personal experience running one at 1 ohm on a stock alt and 2 batteries with the big 3? Are you for sure getting the full power out of the amp? sorry for jacking this thread with my questoin BTW.

I wanna hear this too and witch would be better and more cost efficient a yellow top, bat cap 800, or kinetik 18-2400?

I wouldn't do it. Good way to kill your alt.
