Powerblocks vs Dumbells

well the thing about the randy couture workout is that its one big superset. you do the 1st set rest, repeat it, rest, repeat and then i think you do it a forth time. use heavier dumbells. randy only does 8 reps in each exersercise. y don't you try doin 12 and se how that feels.

try it with some 20 lb dumbells. for chest, get a small bookbag, put the weights in there and hit pushups, as many as you can.

No doubt it seems like a great superset, especially for endurance, but im looking for more of a peaked, cut build

Powerblocks are great to save space but i agree price = terrible. Check out a local "Play It again Sports" for some used ones or for a knockoff brand that could save you a hundred or so bucks. A gym membership is worth every penny if u use it every day. GL with the bodybuilding.

thanks man, i was thinking of this instead... Instead of buying the 5-80 lb powerblocks for 600 bux, im gonna just buy the 20-60 lb blocks for 350 and use the othe 250 for a 14 month membership at our local 24 hr fitness center.. That way i get the best of both ..

why spend the money on both. If u have weights at home its gonna make u not want to go to the gym, but ur gonna get more use out of the gym so ur weights are going to turn into junk to pile up in the garage. If you want to get into shape buy a gym membership, eat right, and start an exercise routine, home gyms are a waste unless u spend 5K+ to get some raw equipment.
