I have heard many stories of this sub being power hungry, others tell me no. They say they are rated per coil, some say no. I am a bit confused and need to find out so that I can get an amp for it. It is a dual 2ohm model XS 12Dv.2 800watts rms and 1600watts peak. I was wanting to throw about 1000watts @ 4ohms, but dont know if they are rated per coil like some people say.
