Powerbass ASA or Diamond D5/D6 amps?

Trying to get back into the audio world with a simple system

(right now running everything off a planet 400.4 amp since I sold my nine.1 and nine.2 a while back due to money problems)

I was looking into the powerbass ASA line

Powerbass ASA600.2 is $149 150x2@4ohm

Powerbass ASA1000.1D is 1000@1ohm and $249

so complete package there $400 new and I hear good things about these amps.

This would be my choice ...

Otherwise I could pick up a Diamond D5 600.2 amp for $250 and a Diamond D5 1200.1 used for $250

should I go with the Diamond for an extra 100? or trust in these powerbass amps

i dont know much about PB, but from personal experience, the diamond amps ive worked with (own 2, have a friend with one too) have all been rock solid. can't go wrong with Diamond

i hear very little of powerbass compared to diamonds in terms of the asa series. well write a review if you decide to go with those powerbasses. they sure look sexy.

not enough power for the brahma really off 1000RMS i want more

Powerbass made by US amps, is a pretty solid amp for the money. I am running them actually, and like them a lot!

powerbass asa series amps are awesome. underrated too. you can get that 1000.1 off ebay for 225 shipped. i cant say enough about the asa line.just my 2 cents

I picked up a brand new ASA 600.2 for $125 and getting a solid audio F15 (basically same thing as sundown 1500) for sub duty. 1000watts wasnt cutting it on the powerbass mono... too bad they dont make a 1500..haha so wanted solid 1500 instead //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
