Powerbass 8" midrange vs PWX 8" midrange

I debating on which of these two 8" speakers to go with.

PowerBass 4XL-80-94 (4xl8094) 8" Competition Grade Composite

PWX 8" mid range - Crescendo Audio | Online Store

They are both about the same price.

Which would be better for midrange sound quality.

They will be crossed about 3k-4k.

Im leaning towards the pwx as the phase plug creates a tingy sound to me, but that may not be the case with the powerbass.. So im looking for your guys opinions.

Also does anyone know if either of these have a demodulating ring?

 
I run PB 6.5 4xl's in the daily. they sound very good, but don't have any midbass to speak of. Which is fine for a midrange speaker. They also get very loud being more of a PA type speaker...
