I have the 2xl components and 3xl coaxials.

the 3xl coax has a nice tighter, non airy sound if it makes sense. I prefer them over the 2xl.

i ran them for 2 years ,nice set just not alot of mid bass,and i changed the tweets to soft silk ,made them much nicer

thanks for the info. im thinking about getting 2 sets. i need to get rid of my arc audio components first.
